3 Words A Beginner To Fitness Should Focus On

There is much more to getting in shape than putting in a lot of work at the gym. Achieving a better physique and improving strength requires focus on three words.  If you can master these three, you will be able to achieve your fitness goals and any goal you set your mind to!

These are without a doubt the three most important words for achieving any goal; it just so happens that they all start with D.  These three words are: DisciplineDedication, and Determination.

Sure, the workout equipment and supplement industries would like you to believe that by simply working out for a few minutes a day or using a supplement or whatever else they’re selling and will you’ll achieve a magazine cover worthy physique, but that’s simply not the case. Honestly, most people you see in supplement ads, workout equipment ads, muscle building magazines, and muscle building websites are on steroids. (*Ducks For Cover*)

Starting on the treadmill is great! Why? If you’re just starting off at the gym and that’s all you know what to do then do it, it’s much better than sitting doing no movement at all! But, while you’re on the treadmill, take a look around. What are other gym goers doing? How are they using machines, or performing exercise movements? Learn from people who, if nothing else, look like they know what they are doing.

It is for this reason of not being sure what to do in the gym once you got there that inspired us to create a Free Workout Generator.  This workout generator has literally Trillions of Targeted Muscle Workouts for you to choose.  Also, for those who don’t have gym memberships, we’ve included Body Weight, At Home, and High Intensity (Tabata) workouts.

Now to get to the point: Discipline, Dedication, and Determination are the only ways you’ll achieve any results.

Discipline

Inside and outside the gym you are making thoughtful decisions that are directed towards your goals. This refers to your diet, as well as a consistent gym schedule.

Dedication

To be successful with your goals you must understand sacrifice and risk. Things you enjoy doing but aren’t in congruence with your goals must be sacrificed. You must also take risks by stepping out of your comfort zone if it means bringing you one step closer to your goal (In your case stepping off of the treadmill and trying an exercise machine).

Determination

No matter how tough things are, or, no matter how you look and feel now, you are improving. You are one step closer to your goal. Be conscious of your diet decisions and keep a consistent gym schedule, you will achieve your goals.

This mindset will follow in any goal you set for yourself in life. Believe in yourself.  We hope the best for you and your goals!

Discipline, Dedication, and Determination are the only ways you’ll achieve any results.
