Just to be clear, we all have a six pack just some of us have it buried under some cushion. Now, when you read that title your initial thought may be “what could possibly be a con?” Well, the reasoning may make a little sense once you read what that is. That’s right there is a con for having a six pack.
Pros
Ok, so besides the obvious of being envied by everyone who doesn’t have them, there are some legitimate reasons beyond superficial desires. The two biggest pros to having a six pack are: it shows you have low body fat percentage, and you have a strong core (more resistant to injuries)
Cons
You will be obsessed with keeping a six pack, and may starve yourself or worse develop an eating disorder just to keep a six pack.
Whether or not you have a “six pack” depends mainly on your genetics. While we all have them, how we store body fat varies from person to person, and focusing on making them more visible draws your efforts from other things like improving strength and ever truly loving yourself and being confident in your own body.
Lift heavy weights and eat foods that are good for you. If you get the six pack abs look as a result so be it, but I’m sure you’ll become more confident with your body in the process.
